An initial conversation provides the opportunity to begin to understand client needs and circumstances.
It is also the time for prospective clients to ask questions.
The conversation will include project objectives, design considerations and the clients decision-making processes.
A free verbal quote is given based upon an estimate of the time required to complete the work. An indication of completion timescales will also be given, this being influenced by client response times.
In addition, project contact names will be confirmed along with preferred methods of communication, typically a combination of phone, email and video calls.
A formal quote is sent via email, the client then confirms the order.
Setting the brief is the most important step in the process as it provides the specific information that will underpin the development of the design.
The client will receive by email a design brief questionnaire which is completed and returned.
The completed design brief provides the framework to produce initial designs which will be sent back by email for client feedback.
Revisions and adjustments are then completed and further reviewed.
Client response times will influence the duration of this step in the process.
As the new design comes to fruition this step is gratifying for both client and designer.
The final design is approved by the client.
Payment is made.
The new design image in a range of file formats is emailed to the client. An emblem specification sheet will accompany the image files.
